When your phone is not connected to the Internet, if there are arrears or other unusual situations, you may not be able to turn on your Boarding Code. Follow the instructions on the page to eliminate the anomaly. If you are still unable to do so, please contact the Station Information Counter or the payment provider’s customer service hotline.

What are the restrictions on using Electronic Payment and Third-Party Payment Boarding Code to cross the gate?

  1. The type of ticket for which the Boarding Code is provided is the single-journey ticket. In case you need to buy single-journey discount tickets for children, for seniors and the disabled, please go to the Station Information Counter and present the relevant supporting documents.

  2. The Boarding Code is limited to the use of one person for the journey and is non-shareable. Passenger should use and keep the valid ticket properly. Copying the Boarding Code by remaking, screenshotting is futile.

  3. Passengers must use the same payment tool and the same linked credit card to get in and exit the gate. If a passenger changes the payment tool (e.g. LINE Pay to LINE Pay Money) after entering the station, it will be regarded as a different Boarding Code, so the passenger must use the same payment tool and the same linked credit card to exit the station.

What must I do if I am unable to use my Electronic Payment and Third-Party Payment Boarding Code because my phone is lost, has a malfunction, or my battery has run out?

In the event of loss, malfunction or battery run-out of the mobile phone, passengers who have not yet entered the station will be required to purchase a separate ticket if the mobile phone fails to display the Electronic Payment and Third-Party Payment Boarding Code (hereinafter referred to as the Boarding Code); passengers who have already entered the station shall pay their ticket fee at the Information Counter and exit the station. Once the mobile phone has been repaired properly and the payment receipt is provided, you can either ask for a refund of the amount charged for the incomplete record of the Boarding Code (the lowest fare announced for a single journey ticket) or cancel the inbound record.

  2. JKOS Pay does not have a Boarding Code function. Please use the“Taoyuan Metro TICKETS”APP to link to the JKOS Pay APP to purchase the “Taoyuan Metro TICKETS”APP single-journey ticket.

When going through the gate with the Boarding Code,

  1. Please turn on the phone's Boarding Code first and adjust the brightness of the phone's display screen to its brightest setting.

  2. The QR Code Reader at the turnstile is shown in the picture below, you can pass through the gate when it is opened.

What shall I do if the APP is acting oddly, stopped responding, or cannot be opened?

  1. Please force quit and close the APP, and then re-open it.

  2. Restart the mobile phone device.

  3. Delete the APP and reinstall it again.

  4. If you still cannot troubleshoot the problem after confirming the above, please contact the Information Counter at the station or the Taoyuan Airport MRT Customer Service.

How do I return a ticket?

Tap on "Ticket Processing"> After the refundable ticket listing is displayed, click Want to Return a Ticket> Confirm the return ticket information and tap the enter key.

Why doesn't the ticket I bought appear in the ticket listing?

  1. Unused or available tickets can be viewed in "My Tickets".

  2. Used, expired, or refunded tickets are viewed in "Ticket History".

  1. Tap on the Taoyuan Airport MRT TICKETS APP homepage in the top left corner, to check if your ID card number or passport number is displayed. If not, please tap on the header graphic and log in again.

  2. After logging in with your ticket buyer ID information, click on "My Tickets" on the home page. The screen displays the QR Code of the purchased ticket, please select the ticket for the trip you wish to ride and a QR code will be displayed.
